The architectural design of the new Trane Hyperion was totally revamped compared to typical Air Handlers. Today the Trane Hyperion’s construction is more like a refrigerator. And it comes with insulation between the walls. This is what the new Trane Air-Tite II cabinet is about. Thanks to this insulation the condensation of the Air Handler is prevented, which would potentially cause damage to the Air Handler itself.
Not only is the “sweating” of the Trane Hyperion eliminated, the Trane cabinet also eliminates the loose fibers from fiberglass insulation that may enter the airstream with other Air Handlers and would impact the Indoor Air Quality.
The Trane Hyperion Air Handler is equipped with the exclusive double-wall construction which is safer and provides you with cleaner indoor air. You could even add the Trane CleanEffects Filtration System to the Hyperion to experience the total clean Indoor Air Quality Solution.

Reliability
The Trane constructed all-aluminum coil in the Trane Hyperion is exponentially more durable compared to an Air Handler equipped with standard copper coils. Standard copper coils underlay the danger of developing corrosion.
